Hey folks! 99 days til the big day. Crazy.
Per normal, things have been nice and nutty around here. Work's really busy with student government and programming board elections just wrapping up and transition time starting. We're also having our first meetings about Orientation 2011. So much to do, so little time.
Last weekend, we had some fun pre-birthday fun and went to Mars Hill for our 3rd Annual "Ski" Weekend with some college buds. While it was about 60 degrees the whole weekend and no skiing occurred this year, it was still a blast. There was yummy lasagna, a trip to Asheville for antiquing and adventuring downtown, and a great impromptu wedding shower for Midas. His "I'm not going to be a bastard anymore" shower was a blast and his been playing with his new toys all week :)
This week has been filled with fun events like the Peking Acrobats and David Coleman, The Dating Doctor, speaking on campus (he's the basis of the movie Hitch). Luckily, I get a bit of a break from the events since the students leave for Spring Break today! YAY! My parents are coming into town tonight for a birthday celebration and Jeff's family is visiting tomorrow for his birthday. We're so excited for some much-needed family time!
