Say Hello to Our Little Friends

So, right across from our house is a creek and nature hike that they're not going to develop. We like to take Midas down there for his walks. We knew we had beavers, but the other day, Jeff told me their fortress had gotten pretty cool. Check out their handy work.

On our way to the dam we saw the first signs of beaver work...

There it is! They've been working hard the last few week and created this awesome dam.



















These pics were taken on Saturday morning and that night we saw a beaver carrying a log out to their den (in the back right of the pic) from our guest bedroom window! Very cool.
